Early Stage Researcher of 3 years in the Marie Skłodowska-Curie European Industrial Doctorate (EID) network EDEM

Project Title: DNS for collapsing bubble dynamics and surface erosion for fuel mixtures

Objectives: (1) To develop an algorithm capable of resolving collapse of a single and a cloud of bubbles. (2) To validate the solver against published and newly obtained data. (3) To develop a sub-grid model for cavitation-induced erosion.

The recruited ESR will spend 50% of their time to non-academic institutions according to the EID guidelines and will be enrolled in a PhD programme of the academic beneficiary partner institutions. In addition to their individual doctoral project, the recruited ESR will
benefit from a dedicated training programme comprising an integrated curriculum of local and network wide training activities related to the development of scientific knowledge and the enhancement of transferable skills.

The successful candidate will receive a financial package including mobility and family allowance (if applicable) and will be employed according to the rules for Early Stage Researchers (ESRs) funded by the EU Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Innovative Training Networks (ITN).
