Early Stage Researcher of 3 years in the Marie Skłodowska-Curie European Industrial Doctorate (EID) network EDEM
Project Title: Optical measurements for fuel mixing in CVC
Objectives: (1) To characterize the mixing process of the directly injected diesel with the ambient gas for different fuel and ambient gas compositions. (2) To quantify the effect of the intake gaseous stream thermodynamic properties on the mixing process with the pilot fuel.

The recruited ESR will spend 50% of their time to non-academic institutions according to the EID guidelines and will be enrolled in a PhD programme of the academic beneficiary partner institutions. In addition to their individual doctoral project, the recruited ESR will
benefit from a dedicated training programme comprising an integrated curriculum of local and network wide training activities related to the development of scientific knowledge and the enhancement of transferable skills.
The successful candidate will receive a financial package including mobility and family allowance (if applicable) and will be employed according to the rules for Early Stage Researchers (ESRs) funded by the EU Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Innovative Training Networks (ITN).
