Project Title: Dual-fuel engine design concepts through effective CFD simulation tools
Objectives: (1) To implement the SGS models developed in WP2 and WP3 in the in-house OpenFOAM-based LES platform (3) To propose injector layouts and timing, fuel mixtures and combustions modes for novel dual-fuel engines

The recruited ESR will spend 50% of their time to non-academic institutions according to the EID guidelines and will be enrolled in a PhD programme of the academic beneficiary partner institutions. In addition to their individual doctoral project, the recruited ESR will
benefit from a dedicated training programme comprising an integrated curriculum of local and network wide training activities related to the development of scientific knowledge and the enhancement of transferable skills.
The successful candidate will receive a financial package including mobility and family allowance (if applicable) and will be employed according to the rules for Early Stage Researchers (ESRs) funded by the EU Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Innovative Training Networks (ITN).
